Teenager shot to death, two people charged in Picayune

Police say a fight on a street corner has ended with a Mississippi teenager’s death and two people charged. Nineteen-year-old Sarai Bagley died on Tuesday from a single gunshot wound to the chest.
A Picayune police investigation reveals Bagley flagged down an SUV and 18-year-old Marlos Jones exited the SUV and got into an argument with Bagley. The driver, 24-year-old Kalista Turner, also exited the vehicle.
According to police, when Turner and Jones got back into the vehicle Bagley went up to the passenger’s window and began hitting Jones. Jones picked up a handgun and shot Bagley.
Jones was arrested on a second-degree murder charge while Turner was arrested for possession of marijuana.
