A Louisiana man was found guilty of sexual battery after admitting to following a woman out of a Biloxi casino and grabbing her. Although he doesn’t admit to any sexual contact, medical evidence proved otherwise.
Thirty-seven year-old Fredrick Eugene Bliss was found guilty of sexual battery after a two hour jury deliberation. Testimony showed that Bliss followed a woman leaving a bachelorette party at a local casino to her condo complex. She says he attacked her from behind, forced her on the ground, and sexually assaulted her.
Bliss faces up to 30 years in prison without the possibility of parole due to the sexual nature of the crime.
