Loaves and Fishes needs extra help

Its Loaves and Fishes very first fundraiser in the 33 years they’ve been helping feed the homeless in Biloxi.
Stint in a Tent will be going on all night. Volunteers will be camping out at Loaves and Fishes tonight for 12 hours. The volunteers will need to raise $500 to be able to get out of their tents. Anyone is welcome. There will also be music and a campfire.
Loaves and Fishes Executive Director Gretchen Hart said, “Right now, we’re kind of feeling the strings are a little tight around here. We just need the funding, the donations, every little bit helps just to keep our operations going. Anyone who walks through our doors that needs a hot meal, on Tuesdays and Wednesday, Fridays or Saturdays, is welcome. It’s a safe place to come and eat and enjoy some company for a good amount of time.”
The Biloxi Shuckers were helping feed the homeless this afternoon. Loaves and Fishes also have a GoFundMe page set up where you can make donations. Their building is on 610 Water Street in Biloxi.
