As the BLOCKING PATTERN continues with an area of high-pressure to our east, patchy morning fog has developed once again. With a southerly flow from the GOM, more humid air will continue to move into the region with an approaching cold front to he west. As the front approaches the W’tern zones it will stall though the weekend before lifting north. As it stalls in the area, the moisture flow coupled with daytime heating will bring a slight possibility (20-30% for afternoon showers/t-storms through Saturday.
Sunday the front will begin to break down the area of high-pressure and eject to the NE. This will elevate rain potential to close-out the weekend.
