Hundreds of kids and future major league hopefuls gathered at the second annual Bobby Bradley Youth Baseball Camp at Harrison Central High School yesterday.
The Cleveland Indian Prospect and former Red Rebel has been busy working tirelessly to become among the elite in the minor leagues in hopes of getting the call up to the big leagues. Bradely tells News 25 in the midst of fulfilling his dreams he wanted to give back by putting on a baseball camp. The 20-year-old had help from former New York Met Barry Lyons, who was recently named Biloxi Shuckers Ambassador. “Well it’s an honor to be in a Major League Baseball uniform or in Bobby’s case a Major League player in the making. I certainly have high expectations for Bobby and I believe he will be a big leaguer for a long time,” said Lyons.
Along with free giveaways, the campers had the opportunity to hit, pitch, field bases, bunt and base run. Bobby Bradley, who is a first basemen, will enter the 2017 season in the minor leagues with the Lynchburg Hillcats as the 95th prospect in all of baseball according to MLBpipeline.com.
