After a breezy & warm afternoon, expect a calm & chilly night. Evening low will drop to 45 degrees on the coastline, with inland areas ending a bit cooler. If that will make for too chilly of a morning for you, be sure to dress in layers as tomorrow’s (Tuesday) high will climb back into the upper 60s along the coast and low 70s inland. The warming trend continues due to ridging along the East Coast, but a low currently developing on the lee side of the Rockies will be heading our way and is expected to pass through Wednesday night. Though there is very little moisture associated with this front, it will bring a few showers during the overnight hours and some much more “seasonal” temperatures. After this front moves through, we’ll see afternoon highs in the upper 50s for a few days, though evenings will be significantly cooler in the mid to upper 30s. After a week of nightly fog and a deadly severe weather weekend, I think we all deserve to enjoy this beautiful week ahead.
