Early morning storms caused quite a scene this morning, but the Friday afternoon forecast calls for much calmer weather going forward. Expect to see decreasing cloudiness as we head into the overnight hours, with gradually shifting winds and drying conditions. Light fog development is possible inland, but the Northerly wind shift will bring cooler/drier air and remove the excess moisture. A few clouds and even a shower could linger around into the early morning, but by all accounts you can expect to see plenty of sunshine by Saturday afternoon. Temperatures will cool off slightly as the effects of the cold front settle in, but we’ll see the return of humidity, cloud cover, and slight rain chances as we head towards the end of the week. Otherwise, from Sunday through Thursday looks much warmer and drier than we saw last week, with some initially cool evening temperatures, but we’ll end up with nights in the mid 70s by the end of the forecast period.
