The clouds have certainly moved in and the bad news in the Monday afternoon forecast is they aren’t going anywhere anytime soon. We will see increasing chances of rain into the evening with showers and thunderstorms likely in the early morning hours. The scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will continue through Tuesday and into Wednesday, where we will see some slight drying out, but another round of showers moves in as we approach the weekend meaning this will be one damp work week. It looks like the endless parade of frontal boundaries will finally run out of steam as we move through the weekend and into next week, with the sun returning to the skies and rain chances drying up. This extra sunshine will bring higher temperatures, as we can expect to start off the week with temps in the upper 80s.
