Today was quite a roller coaster ride of weather in South Mississippi, and Thursday evening’s forecast shows the changes don’t last long. We will see some clearing overnight and into tomorrow (Friday), where mostly sunny skies will be a welcome change from the storms and clouds we’ve grown used to this week. Saturday starts nicely as well, with light cloud cover, warm temperatures, and sunshine, but clouds and rain chances begin to increase as we head into the evening and overnight hours. That leads us to thunderstorms expected on Sunday morning and afternoon, which look like they will move through the area quickly, but more clouds and showers are going to hang around well into next week. I’m expecting one frontal boundary after another to move across the area, bringing mostly cloudy skies and moderate rain chances from Monday to Wednesday before we begin seeing some clearing again Thursday.
