Harrison County District 2 Community Meeting

Residents from all across Harrison County showed up to the Lyman Community Center in Gulfport to voice any and all concerns within the community.
Harrison County Supervisor Angel Kibler-Middleton hosted a town hall meeting this afternoon as a way to inform residents of everything that’s going on in District 2. Residents were able to mingle with other Harrison County representatives as well, such as senior services, emergency management and members of the Harrison County Fairgrounds. The meeting started at 5:30 and carried on until 7:30.
“I am just one person. I only know what I would like to see. I think events like this are good to get input from everybody. Whoever will take the time to come see me and come talk to me, we’ll listen to them. Between all of us, we can get pointed in a really good direction,” said Middleton.
Middleton tells News 25 this is just the first of many meetings she plans to hold throughout her time as a supervisor for District 2.
