Singing River Health System and the D’iberville-St. Martin Chamber of Commerce cut the ribbon to a brand new physical therapy and rehab facility.
Formerly Cedar Lake Physical Therapy, the facility is happy to be back serving D’iberville after 18 months of not having a presence in the area. The new location offers up more space for traditional physical therapy on an outpatient basis as well as some specialized things like incontinence and pelvic disorders.
Clinical director and physical therapist Gaye Stewart-Damron said, “We’ve had the opportunity by moving here to expand those services because we have a little bit more room. We have been able to bring on additional therapists so that we could better serve this community and the surrounding community. We’re blessed to have patients come from Louisiana, Alabama and other parts of Mississippi as well because these services just aren’t that common in this community.”
Singing River Health System says they are happy to be back in D’iberville serving the large number of patients in the area.
