Saints Beat Falcons 31-21

It was a must win game against one of the best teams in the NFL. Last night, the Saints hosted the Falcons with only one thing on their mind, getting their second win.
A huge blocked punt returned for a touchdown and a clicking offense would lead to the Saints handing the Falcons their first loss 31-21.
The game ball went to veteran tight end Benjamin Watson. He had a career night catching ten passes for 127 yards and a touchdown.
Head Coach Sean Payton said, “Good division win for us but we played with a lot of emotion. I thought we capitalized on the blocked punt. That was pretty significant early on.”
Quarterback Drew Brees said, “If we can find a way to get just be a little bit better on offense, a little bit better on defense, a little bit better on special teams, well maybe the ball will start bouncing our way. Maybe some of those games turn into W’s for us and that changes the entire complexion of the season and the way that you feel.”
The Saints improve to 2-4 on the season. The Saints next game will be October 25 against the Colts.
