Shuckers Final Homestand

As the inaugural season begins to wind down, the Shuckers started their final homestand tonight.
The Shuckers took the field against the Tennessee Smokies. The homestand will last through Monday night.
Right now, the Shuckers hold the title for best overall record in the Southern League at 76-56. This week, Shuckers manager Carlos Subero was given the title for Manager of the Year. He says he has high hopes for the team going into the playoffs. “It doesn’t matter if you made the playoff or not. That was the challenge of the second half, being able to go out there. Every game means something. Every game you can learn experience. Every game you can learn from any detail on both sides of the field. So, hopefully, we finish strong here and head into the playoffs.”
The Shuckers will host two playoff games next Thursday and Friday for game one and two of the Southern South Division Series.
