Ocean Springs’ White Christmas Opened Monday Night

In Ocean Springs, White Christmas opened Monday night at the Mary C. O’Keefe Cultural Center.

William Carey University packed up their sets and crew in Hattiesburg to bring this magical show to the Coast. The entirely student cast and crew performed Monday night and will perform again Tuesday at 7 p.m. The Mary C. O’Keefe says it’s excited to bring the show here to add variety to its Christmas calendar, and to help usher in the holiday season.

Connie Roberts, Director of White Christmas, says, “Very much like the old movie, the very favorite White Christmas movie. The same major characters, they have changed some of the musical numbers and the dancing and whatnot, but it’s the same story about show business and about loyalty and about the bonds formed during World War II between all these men.”
