Bureau of Labor Statistics (B.L.S.) figures released today by the Mississippi Department of Employment Security show that Mississippi’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for January 2014 was 7.5%—the lowest the state has seen since November 2008, when the rate was also 7.5%.
