Tuesday, U.S. District Judge Carlton Reeves ruled in favor of equality, striking down Mississippi’s discriminatory constitutional amendment banning same-sex couples from marrying.
Bay St. Louis to Vote on Resolution Recognizing L.G.B.T. Citizens
With members of the Human Rights Campaign, the Mississippi Gulf Coast Lesbian & Gay Community Center, and a group of local business owners present, the Bay St. Louis City Council, and Mayor Les Fillingame will meet Tuesday evening at 5:30 p.m. to vote on whether or not to pass a city wide resolution that would recognize all of the people of Bay St. Louis.
