Toronto, ON (SportsNetwork.com) - The Toronto Maple Leafs on Friday placed forwards David Clarkson and Frazer McLaren on injured reserve.
Clarkson has been troubled with bursitis in one of his elbows, while McLaren's issue is a bruised shoulder.
For Clarkson, it's yet another speed bump during a tumultuous first season with the Leafs. He has missed 12 regular-season games due to a pair of suspensions and will be out at least one more week. He has been limited to three goals and eight points with a minus-5 rating in 36 games.
McLaren has yet to record a point in 22 contests, but has accumulated 67 penalty minutes.
