Recap: Anaheim vs. Los Angeles

Anaheim, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Corey Perry scored twice as the Anaheim Ducks rallied for a 4-2 win over the Los Angeles Kings on Friday.

Ryan Kesler added a goal and an assist while Emerson Etem also lit the lamp for the Ducks, who have won four of their last five. John Gibson made 20 saves.

"For 60 minutes we played this game the right way," said Anaheim head coach Bruce Boudreau. "The first 40 minutes we didn't get anything out of it, but our work paid off in the third."

Brayden McNabb and Trevor Lewis scored for the Kings, who have lost their past two after an eight-game winning streak. Martin Jones gave up three goals on 31 shots.

Anaheim finally got on the board at 4:37 of the third when strong pressure behind the Los Angeles net resulted in the puck coming out front where Kesler snapped it in for his 16th of the season.

Exactly 90 seconds later, Rickard Rakell threw a shot out front from a sharp angle at the right side and Etem was able to tip it in to tie the game.

The Ducks then took their first lead of the game with 8:39 to play, as Ryan Getzlaf flipped the puck up from the left point and it bounced in front of the net where Perry was at to one-time it home for a 3-2 lead.

Anaheim got its first power play of the game with 3:55 to play when Jeff Carter was called for high sticking. The team was unable to score on the advantage, but was able to keep LA from attacking for two minutes.

The Kings then pulled Quick for an extra attacker, but Perry put the puck into the open net to seal the victory.

"I think we slowly got away from our game a little bit, got away from the things that were winning us games previously," Carter said. This is a tough one."

Los Angeles scored the only goal of the first period as Lewis skated down the left wing and bulled past a checker then charged to the net before sliding a shot in for his eighth of the year at 15:02.

The Kings took a 2-0 lead halfway through the second period when Anze Kopitar slid the disc from the right circle to the left point where McNabb wristed it home for his first of the season.
