Milwaukee, WI (SportsNetwork.com) - Former Milwaukee Bucks guard Michael Redd has decided to call it a career.

Redd spent 11 of his 12 NBA seasons with Milwaukee and last appeared in a game two years ago with Phoenix.

The 34-year-old Ohio State product had knee issues late in his career. He appeared in just 61 games over his final three seasons in Milwaukee due to the injuries, then played in 51 games during his final season with the Suns.

Redd averaged 19.0 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 629 NBA games. He averaged 20.0 points in 578 games with the Bucks, who selected him with the 43rd overall pick of the 2000 NBA Draft.

An All-Star in 2003 and a member of the 2008 gold medal winning U.S. Olympic team, Redd set the Bucks scoring record for one game with a 57-point effort on Nov. 11, 2006, eclipsing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's previous mark of 55 from Dec. 10, 1971.
