Sterling suspended, fined for racially charged remarks

New York, NY ( - Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling has reportedly been suspended indefinitely and fined $5 million for his alleged racially charged comments that were taped by his girlfriend and sent to media outlets.

NBA commissioner Adam Silver is expected to make the announcement official during a press conference on Tuesday.

NBC News is reporting the penalties, citing a senior NBA official.
