Recap: Philadelphia vs. Miami

Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Miami Marlins scored four runs in the ninth inning to rally for a 5-4 win over the Philadelphia Phillies in the finale of a three-game set on Sunday.

Phillies closer Jonathan Papelbon (2-3) came on in the ninth with his club up by three. He allowed a double to Jarrod Saltalamacchia, a walk to Enrique Hernandez and a single to Adeiny Hechavarria to begin the inning.

Jordany Valdespin worked a 12-pitch at-bat that culminated into an RBI groundout, then Christian Yelich and Justin Bour each delivered run-scoring singles to tie the game.

Papelbon got a timely strikeout of Casey McGehee before uncorking a wild pitch that allowed Yelich to cross home for the winning run.

"For me, I was just catching too much of the plate today and wasn't as sharp as I have been here for most of the year," Papelbon said.

Anthony DeSclafani (2-2) earned the win for pitching the eighth and Steve Cishek struck out the side in the ninth following a walk and single to start the inning for his 35th save of the season.

"That's by far the biggest win of the year for us," Marlins manager Mike Redmond said.

Miami snapped its four-game losing streak.

Maikel Franco knocked an RBI single in the third inning, then Hernandez answered with a solo homer in the fourth.

Chase Utley scored when Domonic Brown grounded into a double play in the home fourth and Carlos Ruiz added an RBI single later in the frame. Utley's RBI fielder's choice staked the Phillies to their 4-1 advantage.
