Dayan Viciedo homered and knocked in three runs to highlight Chicago's offense.

The Twins put together three consecutive hits to begin the home first which produced a two-run advantage. Danny Santana ripped a single into left-center before Nunez tripled to right that gave the Twins a 1-0 lead. Joe Mauer followed with an infield single that plated Nunez.

After Vargas grounded into a double play, Josmil Pinto and Arcia connected with back-to-back doubles that extended Minnesota's edge to 3-0.

Chicago got two back in the fourth when Viciedo cranked a homer out to left that scored Avisail Garcia. The White Sox then tied it an inning later on an RBI single by Adam Eaton.

Coming out of the break, Vargas delivered a run- scoring hit and Arcia added an RBI groundout two batters later. Aaron Hicks then singled, which ended Danks' night, and Escobar lined a triple to right off reliever Matt Lindstrom that plated a pair to give Minnesota a 7-3 lead.
