Lake Buena Vista, FL ( - The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim have acquired Arizona Diamondbacks left-hander Tyler Skaggs and Chicago White Sox southpaw Hector Santiago in a three-team trade.

The Angels sent power-hitting first baseman Mark Trumbo to Arizona, while the White Sox received outfielder Adam Eaton from the Diamondbacks.

Arizona also acquired a pair of prospects, one each from the Angels and White Sox, in the deal.

Skaggs was selected by the Angels in the first round (40th overall) of the 2009 amateur draft but was sent to Arizona as the player to be named later in the July 25, 2010 deal that landed Dan Haren in LA.

The 22-year-old left-hander has made 13 starts since breaking into the league in 2012, going 3-6 with a 5.43 earned run average.

Santiago, a 25-year-old southpaw, appeared in 34 games with 23 starts for the White Sox last season and went 4-9 with a 3.56 ERA. Over two-plus seasons with Chicago, Santiago has gone 8-10 with a 3.41 ERA.

Trumbo notched career-highs in home runs (34), RBI (100) and games played (159) last season despite batting a pedestrian .234 with Los Angeles.

Over three-plus seasons with the Angels, the 27-year-old slugger has registered 95 homers and 284 RBI while batting .250 in 460 career games.

Eaton, 25, batted .252 with 10 doubles, three homers and 22 RBI over 66 games with Arizona last season.
