Conway, SC (SportsNetwork.com) - Coastal Carolina senior running back Lorenzo Taliaferro has accepted an invitation to play in the 65th Annual Reese's Senior Bowl on Jan. 25, the Big South Conference university announced Thursday.

Taliaferro, who was named a second-team FCS All-American by The Sports Network this past season, is the second Coastal Carolina and third Big South player selected to participate in the game, joining Liberty running back Rashad Jennings in 2009 and Coastal Carolina cornerback Josh Norman in 2012.

As a senior, the 6-foot-2, 230-pound Taliaferro helped the Chanticleers to a 12-3 record, a share of their second straight Big South title and the FCS quarterfinals, while rushing for 1,729 yards and 27 touchdowns. He also caught 23 passes and two touchdowns.

Often considered the most prestigious collegiate all-star game, the Senior Bowl will be played at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Ala., and telecast on the NFL Network, beginning at 4 p.m. ET.
