MTSU to play Navy in Armed Forces Bowl

Murfreesboro, TN (SportsNetwork.com) - Middle Tennessee accepted an invitation Sunday to play Navy in the Armed Forces Bowl on Dec. 30.

The Blue Raiders (8-4) won their last five games, went 6-2 in Conference USA and will play their fourth bowl game under Rick Stockstill.

Navy (7-4) still has to play Army on Saturday in Philadelphia. The Midshipmen will appear in their 10th bowl game in 11 years.
