South Bend, IN (SportsNetwork.com) - A matchup with Boston College in historic Fenway Park is among the highlights of Notre Dame's first three years as a partial football member of the Atlantic Coast Conference, with the university formally announcing its 2014-16 schedules Friday.

The Fighting Irish will face the Eagles at the longtime home of the Boston Red Sox on Nov. 21, 2015, with the game to be televised in primetime by NBC.

As part of its agreement with the ACC, which Notre Dame joined for all sports other than football and ice hockey on July 1, the Irish are obligated to play five teams from the conference beginning with the 2014 season. Scheduling conflicts reduced that number to four for next year, with Notre Dame instead taking on six ACC schools in 2015.

Also on the upcoming dockets are a pair of games with Syracuse that will be held at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ in 2014 and 2016. Notre Dame will be competing in three other NFL stadiums over the next three years, arranging contests against Purdue in Indianapolis' Lucas Oil Stadium and Navy at FedExField in metropolitan Washington, DC scheduled for 2014 and a clash with Temple at Philadelphia's Lincoln Financial Field on the 2015 slate.

When counting their 2012 and 2013 schedules, the Fighting Irish will appear in 10 of the top 12 metropolitan television markets in the United States over a five-year span. Notre Dame also defeated Navy in Dublin, Ireland to open its 2012 campaign.

"Our schedules the next three seasons, combined with our 2012 and 2013 schedules, truly exhibit Notre Dame's intention to celebrate our independence," says Notre Dame athletic director Jack Swarbrick. "We will be playing in virtually every corner of the country and will have a strength of schedule that will serve us well in the new College Football Playoff format."

Notre Dame took part in a pair of high-profile games in NFL venues over the previous two seasons, topping Miami-Florida in Chicago's Soldier Field in 2012 and recording a 37-34 win over Arizona State at the Dallas Cowboys' home of AT&T Stadium back in October.

In addition, the Fighting Irish visits Yankee Stadium on Dec. 28 in the 2013 Pinstripe Bowl, where Notre Dame will battle Rutgers.
