Morgantown, WV (SportsNetwork.com) - West Virginia head men's basketball coach Bob Huggins underwent successful hip replacement surgery Monday, the school announced in a press release.

The 60-year-old is expected to make a full recovery in time for the upcoming 2014-15 season.

Huggins will be entering his eighth year with the Mountaineers and is under contract through 2018. The highly successful head coach directed West Virginia to a Final Four appearance in 2010, though the program has gone just 30-35 over the past two seasons and missed the NCAA Tournament in both years.
