The Wildlife Care and Rescue Center (W.C.R.C.) invites your family to join in a fun filled camping adventure Saturday and Sunday April 12th & 13th at the W.C.R.C. Family Camporee at Shepard State Park in Gautier, MS. You'll meet owls, hawks, turtles, snakes, and other wild animals up close. The day will feature educational wildlife programs, hands-on activities, plus arts & crafts for the kids. The evening campfire is set aside for s’mores, campfire stories, and songs presented by local entertainers.
Campers will bring their own food, tents, and other camping necessities and W.C.R.C. will provide the fixins for the s’mores, the activities, the education, goody bags, T-shirts, and just plain fun. An overnight family camp-out is a super way to introduce young people to nature and a memorable outdoor experience.
Pre-registration is required so please don’t delay: the first 20 families registered will camp.
Please call or text Binnaz Bailey at 228-669-4796, between the hours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. to reserve your campsite and get the pre-registration package.
