The Tea Party Express came to Biloxi Thursday. The tour bus is traveling the country making political speeches and supporting local candidates. The Tea Party Express is calling for smaller government and lower taxes. About 40 people came out to support the rally. The event featured live music and well known conservative activists. The express is throwing its support behind Mississippi Senate candidate, Chris McDaniel.

Taylor Budowich with the Tea Party Express says, “There are a lot of people today throwing their slipper at the TV, frustrated with out of control spending, poor economic growth, a jobless recovery, and they're kind of frustrated and tired of nothing getting done, and they want to send fresh blood to Washington.” The next step for the Tea Party Express is a rally at the capitol building Thursday night in Jackson.
