St. Martin Middle School teacher and students recently raised over 9,992 food items in their Kindness Counts food drive for Salvation Army. Teams competed to bring in the most canned or boxed food items by grade. Each team elected two students to serve in the Mardi Gras Court. The team with the highest number of items had their representatives serve as King and Queen at the Mardi Gras Dance. 8th Grade Team "Trans Am" won with over 3,494 items!
