Drivers may have to take a detour on Sunday if they're traveling down the Interstate 110 Corridor. The south end of the interstate, from just south of Division Street in Biloxi until the loop near the Beau Rivage will be closed to all traffic Sunday morning from 7 a.m. until 10 a.m. This section of I-110 is being shut down so Mississippi Power can relocate a power pole because of construction at M.G.M. Park at the Beau Rivage.

Vincent Creel, the Public Affairs Manager for Biloxi, says, “You'll be directed to Division Street. We have on and off ramps at Division Street. Police will have I-110 blocked at the south end, right there at Highway 90 and they'll also be blocking it at Division Street, so your best bet is to take Division Street and enter of I-110 there.” Since the southern end of Caillavet Street is also closed to traffic, motorists will be diverted to Hopkins Boulevard, a block west of I-110
