Monday, residents at a Biloxi apartment complex are in shock after a shooting Sunday night. The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. at Beauvoir Manor Apartments near Pass Road in Biloxi. Witnesses say there was an argument between two men, neither of which lives at the apartments. One man pulled a gun out and began shooting as the other took off running. There were at least ten children playing at a nearby playground when the shooting started. Witnesses say bullets went whizzing by the children's heads. That's when parents came running to protect their children.

One Biloxi resident who did not wish to appear on camera says, “I was sitting in the back outside, me and my friend. Then I heard gunshots. Pow pow! Then I got up. Then I heard pow, pow, pow, pow! That's when I started running across the field. I was looking for my son. I was scared. I was like, 'Lord, I don't know why they're shooting with all these kids out here.' I just ran to the front where I lived. That's where I found my son. So I went inside. I made him come inside, because I didn't think it was safe for him to be out and playing.” One stray bullet went through a resident’s living room. There were no injuries in the shooting. Biloxi Police are looking for two black males in connection with the incident.
