Singing River Health System will partner with Ambetter, the Health Insurance Marketplace provider for South Mississippi, to provide a free consultation and insurance sign-up on Tuesday, February 18 from 4 p.m.-7 p.m at the Pascagoula Senior Center, located at 1912 Live Oak Ave. in Pascagoula.

Licensed insurance agents will be on-site to assist with enrollment and answer questions. The event is open to the public. Anyone wishing to attend should bring their Social Security numbers, income information or current healthcare insurance cards for household members.

The Affordable Care Act is the biggest, most impactful change to healthcare in decades. It makes sure that Americans can get health insurance and have access to healthcare. Ambetter’s plans are designed to fit each person’s health needs and budget. Individuals who sign up before March 15 will have coverage beginning April 1.

Ocean Springs Hospital and Singing River Hospital are Ambetter’s acute general care hospital providers on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Together they are making world-class healthcare affordable to residents of the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
