After the bids were read for the Biloxi baseball stadium, News 25 hit the streets to find out what Biloxi residents thought.

Many residents were upset about the extra cost of the stadium. They want the city council to reject the bid proposal next Tuesday. Others think the stadium is still well worth it.

Stacy Banks, a Biloxi resident, says, “I think it might be a little extensive, but you have to spend money to make money, and I think in the long run we're going to get it back. It’s going to bring money, it’s going to bring money in to all the businesses around and in the local area and extend it out.”

The Biloxi City Council will vote next Tuesday whether or not to accept the proposed bid.
