No matter how much you prepare, you always can count on forgetting one crucial ingredient. Local grocery stores are seeing the last minute rush for Christmas dinner preparations. The Winn-Dixie in Biloxi is open for extended hours today to accommodate shoppers that are rushing to get dinner on the table. Macklyn Holloway, Biloxi’s First Lady, says, "Well, I'm here today to pick up my Christmas dinner." Keith Anderson, the manager of the Biloxi Winn-Dixie, says, "We get our deliveries in earlier than normal and order more products than usual, but the biggest thing is having the associates in the store to take care of customer needs, to have the cashiers so we have every register running to accommodate the influx of business." This is only the second year that the chain will not be open on Christmas Day, giving employees the day to spend with their families. If you forgot your turkey, don't fret. Shoppers still have plenty of time tonight to make tomorrow's dinner grand.
