Republican candidate for U.S. Senate Chris McDaniel announced today that Phyllis Schlafly and Eagle Forum PAC have endorsed his campaign for U.S. Senate in Mississippi.
“I am honored to receive the endorsement of someone as revered in the conservative movement as Phyllis Schlafly," said McDaniel of the endorsement. "She has dedicated her life to defending the conservative ideals important to Mississippians, such as protecting the lives of unborn children and fighting for traditional values. I am inspired by her life-long commitment to creating a better country for future generations of Americans."
“Chris McDaniel has a solid record when it comes to defending family values and our Constitutional liberties,” said Schlafly. “We need more legislators like him, who are not just Republicans but true conservative champions.
“He has proven that he is not afraid to stand against the bureaucratic establishment and the Obama adminstration’s unprecedented overreach into our healthcare and the education of our children through Obamacare and Common Core.
“When the president refuses to enforce the laws, we know that Chris will hold him accountable. We need his courage to restore power, control and sovereignty to the State of Mississippi and greatness to our nation.
“Now, more than ever, we need United States senators who will not only vote well, but who will roll up their sleeves and fight to protect the values and principles that have sustained us through the years,” concluded Schlafly. “We know Chris McDaniel will do just that.”
Founded by pro-family leader Phyllis Schlafly, Eagle Forum PAC is a conservative public policy organization that supports candidates who are committed to a conservative philosophy of limited government, national sovereignty and traditional values.
Chris McDaniel has been endorsed by a wide array of elected officials and organizations, including Club for Growth, FreedomWorks, Madison Project, Gary Bauer, Sarah Palin, Senate Conservatives Fund, and Tea Party Express.
Chris McDaniel is a constitutional conservative running for United States Senate. He represents District 42 in the Mississippi State Senate in his second term where he fights for individual liberty, free markets and fiscal responsibility in government.
