Party Down South won't be coming to D'Iberville. Wednesday, News 25 learned of a house that the reality show, Party Down South, wanted to shoot at.

According to the home's owners, producers for the show wanted to rent the home near Lamey Bridge Road for the cast to live in, but city officials tell News 25 they objected to the location because of zoning concerns. Unlike other cities, D'iberville has not yet taken an official stance against the reality show.

Robbie Daniel, a homeowner, says, “I was very disappointed that we did not get the support from the city. I believe it would have helped in some cases. We have Mardi Gras down here, car shows, Spring Break. We have all these people coming here and partying and we want to stop eight people from partying?” Party Down South is set to start shooting on the Gulf Coast in July.
