Ocean Springs Police is on the hunt for a man who robbed a bank in Jackson County. Police say a man walked into the Hancock Bank in downtown Ocean Springs around 11:00 a.m. Friday morning. The man implied he had a weapon and handed the teller a note and demanded money. The man did not actually show the weapon and no one was injured.

Capt. William Jackson of the Ocean Springs Police Department says, “The teller complied and gave him the cash, an undisclosed amount of money, and he left the store. We believe the black male to be wearing a Rastafarian wig with a knitted cap attached to the dreadlocks. He was last seen leaving the bank in an unknown direction which way of travel he went.” Anyone with any information is asked to call Ocean Springs Police at (228) 875-2211 or Crime Stoppers at 877-787-5898 for a cash reward.
