Greg Smith, also known as "The Strength Coach" is a motivational speaker and author who has muscular dystrophy. Smith was in Gulfport Tuesday at the James l. Knight Center to talk about the negative voice that's inside all of us. He says it's his own negative thoughts about not being good enough that really held him back at first. He says, "For me, that's been my biggest disability, more so than muscular dystrophy, always telling myself how I'm inadequate or how I'm not capable. When I finally figured out how to shut that voice out, it really changed me and I want to share that message with people." Smith will now travel to Arizona to speak at the Diversity Leadership Conference.
