Christmas Eve and Christmas Day services are common in most churches and usually bring out a big crowd. The St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Long Beach will have six masses over the next two days. Father Louis Lohan says that despite the added stress that can pile up during this time of year, Christmas tends to bring out the best in all of us. Father Lohan says, "I would like to take the opportunity to say to everyone to have a merry and blessed Christmas. It's a wonderful feast day." Father Lohan says that the average Christmas mass last year was attended by around 500 people.
