The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (M.D.E.Q.), through its Beach Monitoring Program, lifted a water contact advisory Friday that was issued February 20 for the following beach monitoring station in Ocean Springs:
●Station 17 ? St. Andrews Beach ? near Main Street in Ocean Springs -- from the west end of the bulkhead to the east end of the bulkhead.
Water samples at this station show the area has attained acceptable
