The mother of Lorel Malone, the 12 year old boy who died after a school fight, has been arrested. The mother was jailed on Monday afternoon on charges of resisting arrest. A bit more than a week ago, Lakenisa Nobles lost her son. The mother is spending her day in police custody. Moss Point Police tell News 25 that the grieving mother ended up in handcuffs after a routine traffic stop in which she was a passenger. Police Chief, Keith Davis, says Nobles tried to give an officer false information and became irate. Apparently, Nobles is wanted for an old warrant for contempt of court. She resisted arrest and was subdued with a Taser. She is now in police custody. Nobles laid her 12 year old son, Lorel Malone, to rest over the weekend after the 7th grader was hospitalized following a fight at Magnolia Middle School. The actual cause for Malone's death has yet to be announced.
