As we first told you last month, the Southern League baseball team coming to Biloxi will be the Huntsville Stars. Today, what we told you last month became official. The Southern League told News 25 that the team from Huntsville will play ball in Biloxi starting in April of 2015. The team will play the upcoming season in Huntsville and then move to Biloxi. The franchise is being sold to a group led by Ken Young. The Huntsville stars are the double affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers. Former Major League baseball player and Biloxi native, Barry Lyons, has waited decades for a professional baseball team to come to Biloxi. Check out our live interview with him right here.
