The Isiah Fredericks Auditorium was filled with more than 200 job seekers. Many vendors were set up around the auditorium, passing out pamphlets and applications. The agency helped job seekers with resumes and set up on-site interviews with some of the employers. Candace Payne, a family service worker, says, “We're estimating between 200 and 300, we're estimating to come out today. We've had 47 vendors, so we've had a really good turnout. We're really pleased.” Payne also reminds job seekers that with the holiday season approaching, many places are hiring for temporary positions.
