Governor Phil Bryant was in Gulfport Thursday, June 5 to speak about the upcoming run-off election on June 24 between Thad Cochran and Chris McDaniel.

Governor Bryant says, “I hope there is not more negative campaigning from either side, but particularly from out of state organizations. I don’t care if you’re from Alaska or Pennsylvania; I think Mississippians can make their own mind up on who they want to vote for here in Mississippi. So I think Mississippians ought to go to work for the candidate of their choice. Let’s have a good clean campaign talking about the issues.”
