Governor Phil Bryant was on the Gulf Coast Tuesday and weighed in on the baseball stadium situation.

Governor Bryant is upset that the process is proving to be as difficult as it is. He spear-headed the project from the get go, granting the City of Biloxi a $15 million construction grant.

Bryant says, “I think I stay frustrated whenever I want to move ahead quickly. We've got to get that project up and running. The State of Mississippi has put investment through BP funding into that. I know there are tough decisions to be made. I make them every day, but we are going to need to get that project onto budget and get it moving. I hope that the City Council of Biloxi will very soon have that decision made so we can get it up and running and be on schedule with it. We want to play baseball in Biloxi.”
