District Attorney, Tony Lawrence, stood with four top police officials behind him as support. Lawrence says he couldn't have done his job without them. Lawrence also says he appreciates the people of the county who took risks to help with the case. He says, “I stand before you today. I wish I could tell you every name of the individuals, who at great risk to themselves, at great risk to the financials of their families complied to, with the power of the court system, complied with subpoenas, and stood for truth and justice.” Lawrence also says that even though one badge has been tarnished, it does not reflect the rest of the Sheriff's Department.
