D'Iberville Police say the car burglaries took place in numerous hotel parking lots where the suspects searched through unlocked cars and stole various items. Captain Clay Jones says the D'Iberville Police Department is currently following several leads. Jones says, "And with these cases, they could take a day or they could take a month, but with the help of our media, somebody is going to call us and we have been receiving phone calls and it’s just a matter of time before we get this perpetrator in jail." Jones says the best way to protect your vehicle is simply to lock the doors.
