There is good music and good fun happening at the Crawfish Music Festival in Biloxi. The Mississippi Coast Coliseum and Convention Center is hosting the eight day event. Friday’s featured performers included Cole Swindell and Dustin Lynch. The festival has lots of carnival rides and games with prizes. The Crawfish Music Festival is the only two weekend festival on the Coast. This is the 22nd year the festival has been held. In the past, major performers have played the stage at the festival, including Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, and Luke Bryan, just to name a few.
Matt McDonnell, the Assistant Executive Director of the Coliseum, says, “So to have that type of star power throughout the years, it shows that we're booking the right acts. We're booking the guys who are climbing the ladder, who are just at the cusp of stardom, and it’s no exception this year.” The festival will continue this Saturday and Sunday and all next weekend as well.
