Josh Campbell and his horse, Cojack, are riding around the country to raise awareness for animal rescues and to help with donations for Buck Creek Valley Rescue Farm in Indiana. The rescue farm is one of just a few left in the country and they are struggling to survive. The cowboy's long trip is rough, but he has received much support and even gained a few riding partners along the way. Campbell says, “I started in November and will be probably riding until April or May. It's a rough trip. I've always wanted to get my horses down in the sand and today we'll do it. It's the only thing to keep the rescue mission going.” Campbell plans to end his ride in New Mexico, and in true cowboy fashion, he stopped at Boots and Hats on Highway 49 before taking Cojack to the beach.
